Hey there & welcome to my blog. Yes, it’s actually me… Anishka. I was born & raised in Nassau Bahamas, completed my Bachelor of Arts in London, Ontario then returned home to begin working. I’ve been in tourism since 2002 working in 3 different resorts on the island. I’ve also taken quite an interest in photography from my high school years and decided to do some work to feed my hobby. 

In my 39 years, I’ve been through some really trying patches and although I’m not usually an open book for the world, this pandemic has caused me to embrace change and I plan to share my journey in hopes to inspire some or just spark some conversation.

Watching my son grow, travelling, making memories with family and friends & exploring new opportunities are some of the things that excite me!!

I invite you to sit with me as I take a journey through the past, look to the future and continue to joyfully live in times that are here and now. One thing is certain, none of these times we can rewind, replay or take away. Some of it will be light stuff (tea or coffee), some will be heavy stuff (alcohol needed) & some will indeed be more celebratory stuff (champagne). But whatever I sit before you that day, it is my hope that you stay with me, learn from and with me as I maneuver through this ever changing life that I have been gifted.
